Receptionists
Darcy
After spending most of our lives on the West Coast, my husband and I made the life-changing decision to move to Tennessee eight years ago after falling in love with the area during vacation. In 2018, we found our forever home in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley, where we have happily settled ever since. We have been married for 33 years and are proud parents of two adult sons. Our home wouldn’t be complete without our beloved dogs- Dixie, our energetic Australian Shepherd; Falkor, our spirited Siberian Husky; and Belle, our tiny but mighty Chihuahua. Together, they make quite the unforgettable trio.
I began my journey in the animal care field three and a half years ago at Sequoyah Animal Hospital and have since spent nearly 3 years as a receptionist at Muddy Buddies. In my role, I am dedicated to supporting our grooming team and ensuring every client and their pet has a smooth, welcoming, and positive experience from drop-off to pick up.

Groomers
Jeannette
Jeannette brings a lifetime of dedicated animal care to our team. From her early days mushing Huskies in Alaska to discovering her passion for grooming in Atlanta, her journey has always centered around the well-being of animals. She firmly believes that pets enrich our lives in countless ways, and she carries that philosophy into every grooming session.
Your pup’s comfort and safety are always Jeannette’s top priorities. At her table, dogs are treated with patience, kindness, and the attentive care they deserve—making it a safe, welcoming space for every visit.
Outside of the salon, Jeannette enjoys remote camping, gardening, gaming and spending quality time with her husband and cats.
Rebecca
From a young age, I’ve always had a deep love for animals—especially dogs. I began my journey in the animal care field at just 16 years old as a veterinary assistant in my hometown of Washington State. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion that has continued to grow ever since.
At 19, I transitioned into bathing and quickly discovered my love for grooming. Over time, I developed my skills and became a professional groomer, dedicated to helping every pet look and feel their absolute best. There’s nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a happy, confident dog after a great grooming session.
My husband and I have moved across the country a few times over the years, but in 2023, we happily settled in Chattanooga, where we now call home. We share our lives with our 77-year-old Great Pyrenees, Xander, who brings us endless joy and companionship. In May of 2025, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Haven, into the world. She is our greatest blessing in our lives, and it’s been so special to watch her grow—especially seeing the sweet bond she shares with her big brother, Xander.
I’m proud to be part of the Muddy Buddies team, where I get to do what I love every day—grooming dogs and helping them feel amazing. Muddy Buddies has truly been my favorite salon to work in, and I genuinely look forward to seeing each of my clients and their pets every day.

Kaylee
Kaylee joined the Muddy Buddies in June of 2025 as a dog bather, where she is dedicated to keeping every pet clean, comfortable, and stress-free. With a calm and caring approach, she strives to make each grooming experience as positive for both pets and their owners.
Prior to joining Muddy Buddies, Kaylee built a strong foundation in animal care while working as a veterinary assistant at Sequoyah Animal Hospital. This hands-on experience gave her valuable insight into animal health and well-being, which she brings into her grooming/bathing work every day.
At home, Kaylee is a proud pet mom to three dogs—Booger the Corgi, Buford the Great Dane, and Okie the German Shepherd—as well as five cats who keep life lively and full of personality. Outside of work, she enjoys trying out new recipes in the kitchen, whether cooking or baking, and getting lost in a good book. Kaylee looks forward to continuing to grow in her craft and hopes to further her career as a full-time groomer.
